Someone in the 5ch radiko thread posted a link to a newsletter that mentioned a new thing JOQR is trying out, making a programme and then AI translating it for international audiences
The programme is called Shinnosuke Tachibana's With My Voice, In Your Words / 「立花慎之介 僕の声で。君の言葉で。」
Here is the page on the QloveR website
i had some thoughts™, here is my post:

excuse my poor japanese...
english version
That QloveR AI translation thing is quite interesting
but the accent sounds a bit... norweigan? lol
also i find that the way of speaking/atmosphere on japanese tv/radio etc is quite different to english ones
the jp ones are all excited and in your face, whereas the english ones are more casual/relaxed
cultural differences i suppose
but when i watched the programme i found myself getting worn out by it lol
i was quite impressed by the translation quality actually
but obviously it can't translate between cultures like this^ just yet...
also regarding the distribution,
you'll never get anyone to watch it if you put it on some random japanese app ("QloveR") no one's ever heard of
+ paywall past episodes(!)
put it on youtube, that way people might actually see it
the idea seems quite nice at least, idk how successful the execution will be
also that newsletter seems quite interesting, like a japanese version of james cridland's one kinda? though would be nice if they went into detail or gave links or comments about the stuff. i have to assume it's actually longer and that's just a preview/toc? membership is 60 quid a month so i will probably never know...
TODO: i might put a clip or something here so you can hear what im talking about
